It's been a long two days...
I left Los Angeles at 7:50 am on Aug. 4th and traveled to Altanta then Milan to Locarno. Today is now the 6th which means I have lost about a day and a half, sleeping just about 4 hours because I was either writing or looking out the window. Not to mention when I arrived there was much to explore and I could not waste another second.
So here is the Main Venue. Last night, I was lucky enough to catch Marc Webb's (500) Days of Summer here in its European premiere.
Today is a great day. Weather fine, great people, speaking of which I ran into my buddy Josh from Ithaca College. He was sitting by himself in the main venue writing in his notebook. He's been staying in northern Switzerland for the summer and decided he was going to try and catch some good flicks. I'll try and get some of the photos up that hes been taking while out here - great stuff.
Anyway so today is the official world premiere of MIXTAPE. We are the opening film in the competition this afternoon, which I am still not sure is a good or bad thing. But regardless, we've made it...we're here and its showing in front of about 1,000 people - really great stuff.
So before I head out for the day, I will leave you with a view from my room...enjoy and keep checking back.
