Good morning,
It is the final day of my duration in Locarno. It has been a wonderfully eye opening experience that I know I will take with me into my future endeavors in filmmaking.
I still have not found that cable so I am sorry to say that I will not be posting any new photos. BUT, I do have interesting news.
So yesterday I was attending another section of Leopards of Tomorrow and I ran into Marc Webb, director of 500 Days of Summer. Although our conversation was brief, it was nice to finally talk to another American director and share the experience of having both our films attend such a renowned festival. Very few Americans are having films screened here, and based on the reception and feedback of our work, it seems to be a pretty amazing feat. Not to mention if you look through the festival's photo's, Peter and I are clearly the youngest filmmakers at the festival. Sweet.
Speak of the dude, Peter left this morning, and didn't even say goodbye! Probably because he knows this is not the end of the road by any means.
I have an interview today with an American magazine about our project. Not sure what to expect but I thought it would be interesting to explore regardless. Ill keep you updated.
Well that's it for now. I am currently on the bus on my way into the city. I want to thank all of you that have followed. Rest assure that this is not the last but the inception of experiences like this to come.
So I have a layover in NYC for 3 days before flying back to LA, not sure what ill do considering I have no where to stay.
Back on the grind tomorrow.
