Hey there, so I haven't been able to find a cable quite yet so I'm attempting to make this work through my blackberry. If it doesn't work bare with me.
So our film screened for a second time yesterday but we missed it. The shuttles coming in and out of the city are tough to connect with considering everyone here speaks every language but English. Not a problem because we did catch the rest of the films and they were just as good as they had been the day before.
Here is a view of the mountains outside the theatre.
Rain!
So last night, here we are enjoying another night of food and wine out on the Piazza Grande. We're just getting ready to see Cassevetes' My Sister's Keeper in its European Premiere starring Cameron Diaz and that little girl from little miss sunshine when it starts to downpour. I don't mean just rain either. Chunks of hail begin falling from the sky. People were sprinting, throwing their in every direction chairs. Luckily, my Italian isn't too bad and I was able to reserve a table under a canopy about an hour earlier. We had just finished eating when this happened and then just sat and watched the chaos unfold.
